Refund Policy
We are so confident that working with Life Purpose Consulting & Mentoring Services is a powerful and enriching experience for all our clients that we offer a 100% Satifaction-or-Your-Money-Back Guarantee for ALL Life Purpose Consulting and Mentoring services*.
If you are unsatisfied with the service you have received from us, or feel that you have not received adequate value for your money, just let us know in what way you have been dissatisfied with our services, and we will provide a full refund to you of whatever fees you have paid.
All refunds will be issued within 90 days of the original refund request.
* The 100% Satisfaction or Your Money Back Guarantee for "ALL Life Purpose Consulting and Mentoring services" includes all of our "services," as distinct from our "programs."
By "services" we refer to client work that involves appointments and sessions for individual or couples' engaged in Life Purpose Consulting or Life Purpose Mentoring appointments, sessions or pre-paid packages. This guarantee also includes all other professional IT and consulting services offered by Life Purpose Consulting Services to individuals or small (unincorporated) businesses, including website development, database development, graphics design or computer installation, training, upgrades or repair.

- Appointments
All kept appointments for private individual, couples or small group appointments fall under the 100% Satisfaction-or-Your-Money-Back Guarantee.
We expect clients to be on time for their appointments, and to contact us 24 hours or more in advance to change or cancel any appointments after their first appointment.
- Failure to notify us of a change or cancellation less than eight (8) hours prior to the appointment will result in a 100% charge for the appointment time.
- Notifying us between eight (8) and 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in a 50% charge for the appointment time.
This charge will be deducted either from an advance payment (via a Full Consultation or Mentoring Program) or else will be handled during your next scheduled appointment, or else via invoice (if no further appointments are scheduled).
If an individual appointment (not a part of a pre-paid package) has been pre-paid and cancellation has been made more than 24-hours in advance, a 100% refund will be issued upon request.
- Pre-Paid Packages
"Packages" refers to all pre-paid services that involve a series of one or more appointments between Life Purpose Consulting Services and an individual, couple or private group. All other types of 'packages' -- i.e. those which involve participating in a group setting (such as a pre-paid series of classes) -- are considered "programs" (see below).
Any clients who choose to cancel the remainder of any pre-paid package -- such as the Full Life Purpose Consultation "Jump Start" package or the Life Purpose Mentoring Program Pre-Paid Package -- will receive a full refund of the un-used portion of their package, less $100.
Alternatively, 100% of any unused portion of a any package is fully transferrable to another person, or to any other program or event offered by Markus Thorndike or Life Purpose Consulting & Mentoring Services, if so desired.
- Programs
"Programs" refers to an individual or couples participation in workshops, classes, retreats or other events offered publicly -- or privately, to small organizations, groups or businesses -- by Life Purpose Consulting Services.
The following lists the policies for an individual or couples who choose to cancel these programs, based on the number of days prior to the program start date:
- 90 days or more in advance
Upon request, 100% of the program fee is refundable, less any non-refundable deposit (which will be clearly stated to you at the time of your enrollment, or it is $0). Alternatively, the program fee is 100% transferrable to another person, event or program.
- 60 days or more in advance
Upon request, 66% of the program fee is refundable, less any non-refundable deposit (which will be clearly stated to you at the time of your enrollment, or it is $0). Alternatively, it is 100% transferable to another person, event or program.
- 30 days or more in advance
Upon request, 33% of the event fee is refundable, less any non-refundable deposit (which will be clearly stated to you at the time of your enrollment, or it is $0). Alternatively, it is still 100% transferable to another person, event or program.
- Less than 30 days in advance
The event fee is entirely non-refundable, but is still 50% transferable to another person, event or program, less any non-refundable deposit (which will be clearly stated to you at the time of your enrollment, or it is $0).

What is NOT Included in the 100% Satisfaction or Your Money Back Guarantee
Cancellations
The 100% refund guarantee does not apply to the cancellation of appointments, pre-paid packages, or programs. See above for details on our cancellation and transfer policies.
Programs
Offered distinctly from our "services" for individuals, couples and small groups, the 100% refund guarantee does not include individual or couples participation in our "programs": Programs are group activities such as workshops, classes, retreats, or other group events. Instead, refer to our pre-paid programs policies, immediately above, for details on the refund and transfer policies for our programs.
Corporate Work
This refund guarantee also does not apply to any services or programs paid for or sponsored by a corporation, non-profit organization, or any other organizations controlled by more than two individuals. Refund policies for such groups and organizations will be set on a case-by-case basis, in writing and in advance.
